Bridges to Behavioral Health

Bridges to Behavioral Health is a conference that provides an insight on bridging interdisciplinary gaps between the pediatric community and the behavior analytic community to create a shared care models that meet critical behavioral health needs of children.

Bridges to Behavioral Health covers topics such as:

• A `shared care` model that supports goal-directed collaboration between all key stakeholders in child health communities and other professional disciplines with relevant research and complementary skills to meet the increasing needs of children and families
• How to establish a well-validated behavior analytic solution to overcome challenges in behavioral health solutions, and demonstrate how pediatricians and other child health professionals can collaborate with behavior analysts to achieve significant progress and help children achieve goals for development and learning
• How to deliver behavioral treatments via telehealth for young children with autism who display severe challenging behavior
• Applied Behaviour Analysis in Genetic Syndromes to provide a framework of highly individualized assessment and intervention strategies using continuous measurement, data-driven feedback, and procedure optimization
• How to develop treatment plans for health-related behaviors and safety skills, including feeding disorders, sleep disorders/bedtime resistance, toilet training, weight management
